Your First Visit
On your first visit to The Optimum Spine Centre, you will be asked to fill in a form with some basic details. Your Chiropractor will then take you to the consulting room where they will collect a full case history from you. A thorough physical examination will then follow. The physical examination involves the following:
Orthopaedic tests – to find out exactly where the pain is coming from.
Neurological tests – to find out how your nervous system has been affected.
Chiropractic exam – Checking your posture, range of motion and to check the spine for fixations, misalignments or any other abnormalities.
Your Chiropractor will then need to write up your diagnosis and treatment plan so you will be asked to book in again for your report of findings.
Your Report Of Findings
On returning to The Optimum Spine Centre for your report of findings, your Chiropractor will sit down with you and explain in detail what your problem is, in a way that is understandable to you.
They will then go through a plan of management with you, explaining how long it is likely to take and how many sessions will be required to address your problem.
At this point you can decide whether to start Chiropractic care at The Optimum Spine Centre immediately or not.
